I am Elisa Lau from Montreal and I grew up in Toronto. I lived in Hong Kong during my last year of highschool and I graduated from the University of Waterloo, majoring in Accounting. I am a mother of two teenagers. My passion is helping people and my secret street name is "the fixer".
My style: My approach is built upon a very simple premise: "Accountability leads to happiness". Losing sight of one's accountability leads to unhappiness. Applying "strategy" into the mix is where the magic happens. What distinguishes me, is my ability to blend practical common sense with accountable action and innovative strategy. My no-nonsense style connects well with people from all walks of life.
My nature: Empathy and compassion is in my nature and I strive to bring a smile to every individual I meet! I am passionate in helping individuals become happier, better versions of themselves by holding them accountable to accomplish what truly matters to them. The fundamentals of accountability & purposeful strategy are powerful tools to maximizing one's potential.
My experience: My diverse experience with people spans from resource management, business strategy & operations, audit and tax across various core industry lines. My previous life was in public accounting, distinctively having completed my Big 4 Tour at KPMG, Deloitte, EY & PwC. Throughout my career, I have also participated in numerous in business operations, business strategy and HR initiatives in talent acquisition, on-boarding, performance counselling, career coaching and CPA mentoring in Toronto and Vancouver.
